About

Otley Golf Club was founded in 1906 and in 2006 celebrated its Centenary. The magnificent, wooded Otley Chevin creates an impressive backdrop and to the north and west stretches Wharfedale making this parkland course a unique location.

Major investment in machinery, drainage, irrigation and manpower over a good number of years has resulted in first class conditions. The mature course in its delightful setting presents a challenge to golfers of all abilities.
The central situation of the Clubhouse makes it an ideal course for 9 holes before lunch and 18 afterwards. Two excellent practice grounds can be found adjacent to the clubhouse.
Although not physically demanding, the course provides a challenging and fair game of golf, with each hole setting its own individual examination. The first few holes at Otley provide one of the toughest starts in Yorkshire, one where a pre-match warm up on the centrally positioned practice ground will pay dividends.
