Captain's Welcome
Welcome to the website of Otley Golf Club, I hope that you find the website interesting and informative and that it encourages you to visit our challenging golf course situated in the picturesque Wharfe valley.
The course, which was initially 9 holes when opened in 1906,
consists of 18 holes spread over undulating park land and has
splendid views of the Wharfe valley and Chevin Forest.
There are two streams meandering through the course, which cause
most players to pause for thought when playing certain holes. The course is not physically demanding yet the first six
holes are as challenging a start as any course in Yorkshire.
One of the attractions of Otley Golf Club to prospective
members and visitors alike is the hospitality provided in the bar
and restaurant. Whatever your score, you can be assured of a
friendly, warm welcome by the staff and members.
We are always pleased to discuss membership with potential
applicants, to negotiate deals for your Society Day or to cater for
