We have an exciting new opportunity for a General Manager at Otley Golf Club Ltd.

Recently incorporated, Otley is member-owned with a rich heritage. Founded in 1906 our welcoming and inclusive Club now has more than 700 members. Our attractive parkland course nestles between the high ground of Otley Chevin and the River Wharfe with dramatic views of Ilkley Moor. Considerable recent investment has made our Club one of Yorkshire’s finest courses and clubhouses, admired locally and regionally. However, we remain ambitious.

The successful candidate will work with our Board of Directors to create and deliver the Club’s vision and strategy, ensuring we remain relevant and attractive to members and visitors and therefore financially sustainable into the future. They will demonstrate outstanding strategic, financial and operational leadership and possess the business skills required to deliver new member experiences and benefits, maximise alternative revenue streams and provide a high level of service to the golf and social community here at Otley. To be successful they must also appreciate the world of golf and have a proven track record of managing and inspiring small teams in order to provide a welcoming experience for members and visitors and promote our wide range of additional facilities.
