Set menu

  • Two Course meal with coffee £12.95
  • Three course meal with coffee £15.50
  • Pate – Chicken livers blended with Whisky and shallots, served with baby leaf salad, caramelised onions and toasted bread
  • Stuffed Mushroom – Portobello mushroom stuffed with stilton, topped with tarragon breadcrumbs, served with garlic mayonnaise (V)
  • Smoked Salmon Terrine – Smoked Salmon and Dill Terrine. Served with horseradish cream, brown toast and a dressed bay leaf salad
  • Soup – Smoothly creamed mix of seasonal vegetables with a hint of black pepper (V)
  • Melon – Succulent Honeydew melon, mango sorbet, served with strawberries and orange (V)
  • Smoked Haddock Fish Cake – A smoked haddock, potato and caper fish cake, served oncreamed leeks with a lemon wedge
  • Asparagus & Parma Ham – Lightly roasted asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham and served with a soft poached egg and hollandaise sauce
  • Chicken – Roast breast of chicken wrapped in Pancetta, baby onion and mushroom sauce
  • Steak & Ale Pie – Slow-braised beef in a hand-pulled ale and horseradish gravy, topped with a suet pastry crust 
  • Fillet of Salmon Hollandaise - Salmon fillet baked with lemon, dill and grain mustard. Served with buttered samphire served and a warm hollandaise sauce  
  • Roast Pork & Black Pudding - Oven roasted loin of english pork, stuffed with black pudding and apples.  Served with a cider and mustard sauce
  • Roasted Rump of Lamb – Oven roasted rump of lamb Served with a crispy lamb bon-bon and a redcurrant and rosemary sauce with parmesan mashed potato
  • Traditional Roast Beef – Oven roasted topside of beef. Served with Yorkshire pudding, watercress and thyme gravy

Beef Stew & Dumpling – Tender beef braised in red wine with a fluffy dumpling. Served with mashed potato and seasonal vegetables
