Professional Staff

Steve Tomkinson has been the resident Head Professional at Otley GC since 1998 having started his career under John Hammond at Ilkley and then Head Professional at Issum GC in Germany where he gained a wealth of coaching experience. Steven has established himself as a top coach and teaches all abilities of golfers to a very high standard.

Joe Ullock is a very popular member of the team and is now Head Assistant at Otley having gained his full qualifications with the PGA a few years ago. He is gaining an excellent reputation as a friendly and knowledgable coach. He is always available to play in Pro Ams and is contactable through the Pro Shop.

As well as teaching the staff run a superb Professional shop of clothes and golf equipment including buggy and trolley hire with quality and customer service being top priorities. The shop is now open under stringent Covid guidelines but please call in and all members of staff will be delighted to assist you to offer advice and assistance so that you can find what you are looking for to help improve your golf.
