Normally played into the prevailing breeze the first hole is a tough start. A drive between the trees on the left and the marker post should set up a long second shot into the green. Any tee shot to the right will mean you are likely playing from the rough as the fairway slopes from left to right. The green has a steep slope just in front so you will need to carry the ball all the way to the flag. The tricky, undulating green gets pretty quick in summer. Be careful if the flag is positioned front right as holding the green can be a challenge.
