The sixteenth hole favours a drive to the right-hand side of the fairway but, be warned as out-of-bounds lurks beyond the trees. A drive down the left is not so bad but the green is better protected on the left with two bunkers and a raised grassy mound on the right. A backward glance from the 11th tee would pay dividends to see the position of the pin as it is often tucked away at the back left meaning that you will need to carry these bunkers to get a birdie putt. If it is on the right, you can chase the ball up close to the flag as the green is large and has gentle contours which require good reading.
