The eighteenth hole has a selection of tee boxes but all of them mean you will have to get over the hedge. Once this has been accomplished there is a generous fairway but it does slope from right-to-left throughout the landing zone. The further right you can land the ball the better but beware the mature trees on the right as they can overhang the fairway and catch anything too close. The second half of the hole drops down to the green which is protected by a series of bunkers. The green has some challenging contours meaning there are few easy putts but it is also a great finish to the course.

Ben Grimmitt - Junior Captain 2022:

"The closing hole at Otley begins with a daunting tee shot onto a sloping fairway with trees on either side. The raised tee allows a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside so relax and enjoy the drive. The approach to the green is a personal favourite of mine - downhill and often downwind there is a good opportunity to finish strongly. However, bunkers on either side of the green and the potential for some tough pin positions make the 18th a tough but fair finish."
